Uganda Safaris

Uganda Safari & Tour Packages

Experience Uganda — Africa’s Most Extraordinary Hidden Gem.

From the source of the Nile to gorilla trekking in Bwindi, white-water rafting in Jinja to the tree-climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth National Park — Uganda offers experiences that simply don’t exist anywhere else.

Şahin Tours & Travel organises fully coordinated Uganda safari and tour packages for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Why Uganda Stands Apart
Uganda has 1,061 bird species. More mountain gorillas than anywhere on earth. White-water rapids on the actual Nile. A national park where lions climb trees — a behaviour so rare it occurs in only two places in the world. And yet most people have never seriously considered coming here. That is changing. Our clients who have made the trip will tell you — Uganda does not disappoint.
Why Uganda?

Why Uganda and Not Kenya or Tanzania?

Kenya and Tanzania are extraordinary destinations. They are also heavily commercialised, increasingly crowded, and expensive. Uganda offers something different — and in several categories, something better.

Uganda has more mountain gorillas than anywhere on earth. Kenya has none. Uganda has chimpanzees, golden monkeys, tree-climbing lions, shoebill storks, and over 1,000 bird species — more than the entire continent of Europe combined. The Nile begins here. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the oldest and most biodiverse rainforests on the planet, is here.

Right now, before the rest of the world fully catches on, the parks are quieter, the permits are more accessible, and the experience is still genuinely intimate.

Our clients consistently describe Uganda as the most underrated destination they have ever visited.

KEY DESTINATIONS

Where You Will Go

Every destination in our packages has been selected for the quality and rarity of the experience it offers. Below is a brief overview of the main stops — each one worth a visit on its own.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to almost half the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is one of the most sought-after wildlife experiences on earth — and one of the few that genuinely lives up to the expectation.
Kibale Forest National Park
The best place in the world to track chimpanzees. Home to 12 primate species and the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary — a must for birdwatchers with over 200 species recorded in the area.
Jinja — Source of the Nile
The point where the Nile River begins its 6,650km journey to the Mediterranean. White-water rafting here is ranked among the best in the world. The town itself has a relaxed energy that surprises most first-time visitors.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
The only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos — on foot, with armed rangers. An unusually intimate experience that no vehicle-based game drive can replicate.
Murchison Falls National Park
Uganda's largest national park. The Nile forces through a 7-metre gap in sheer rock — one of the most powerful waterfalls in Africa. Game drives include lions, giraffes, elephants, and hippos along the riverbank.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
The Kazinga Channel offers one of Africa's most rewarding boat safaris — hippos, elephants, and buffalo at arm's reach. The Ishasha sector is one of only two places on earth where lions have been observed climbing trees.
Lake Bunyonyi
29 islands. Cool highland climate. Water so calm it is perfect for canoeing at sunrise. Described by many visitors as one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa — and almost entirely unknown outside Uganda.
Kampala
Uganda's capital is a city of seven hills, vibrant markets, royal tombs, mosques, and local cuisine. The Kasubi Royal Tombs, Gaddafi Mosque, and Uganda Martyrs Shrine are cultural landmarks that put the country's history in context before you head into the parks.
